Not just flowers on a Tulip Time River Cruise

I went on a Tulip Time river cruise this spring with Ama Waterways thinking that it would be all about flowers but nothing could be further from the truth! Don't get me wrong, we did see Tulips but we also visited a fabulous museum, learned how to make Belgian chocolate, biked through Antwerp viewing their incredible architectural buildings, strolled peacefully through the windmills in Kinderdijk and maneuvered the canals in Amsterdam. … [Read More...]

River & Small Ship Cruise Specials

As the river cruise companies bring out their 2018 pre- season specials, I find it amazing how quickly they can book up. For instance, I was booking a Gems of the Seine cruise in France for my clients and managed to get them the pre-release discount of $1000 off per person but then two days later it was booked up already ! So don't leave it too long to book your preferred dates for next year.............First timers usually like to start with the Danube or Rhine but you can't go wrong with one of the itineraries in France either........If you'd like to sail on one of the exotic rivers in Asia, you have many to choose from now - from the Yangtze, Mekong, Irrawaddy or the Ganges. Or perhaps you prefer to stick closer to home - there is always the Mississippi or the Columbia/Snake Rivers .......Whichever one you pick, it will be wonderful and you'll spend the rest of your time choosing the next river !

Which River Cruise is right for me ?

Are you confused by all the different cruise companies and itineraries?
1) Would you like to know which cruise is the perfect fit for you or why some companies are better on certain rivers than others ?

Each company claims they are the best but I can tell you the difference between Ama Waterways, Avalon, Crystal, Emerald, Scenic, Uniworld and Viking
2) How about some extra shipboard credits that you can’t get on your own ?
3) Can you trust spending up to $10,000 or more online or with a call center agent or would you like to book with an expert who has actually been there ?

I’ve sailed on the Rhine, Main, Mosel, Danube, Rhone, Saone, Seine, Garonne (Bordeaux) Dutch/Belgian Waterways, Yangtze, Mekong, Amazon, St. Lawrence, Columbia/Snake rivers and the Chobe River in Africa.

If so, then give Linda a call at 1-877-543-8182 or email to linda@therivercruiselady.com to book with someone who can offer you all the choices and not just one cruise line.
